The President of the American Psychiatric Association (APA), psychiatrist Nada Stotland, obviously needs a bit of a lesson on the difference between a disease and a "mental disorder," given her recent comments. Diseases can be confirmed by medical/scientific tests. Mental disorders are simply checklists of behaviors.
