Violin from Stradivari's famed 'Golden Period' could fetch $12-18M at auction<br /><br />A violin made by renowned Italian craftsman Antonio Stradivari could fetch between $12-to-18 million when it hits the auction block at Sotheby’s New York later this week. The Joachim-Ma violin dates to Stradivari’s Golden Period. It was made by the craftsman in 1714, when he was about 70 years old.
