Leala Hewak, 60, flew her daughters Estée and Sophia Katz to Mexico City after securing an invite to a stranger’s wedding, hoping they’d meet potential partners.<br /><br />Hewak had met the groom in an art group chat and, upon learning he had “handsome cousins,” arranged for her family to attend.<br /><br />The trip turned into a week-long holiday, though the daughters didn’t find romance.<br /><br />Estée said the experience was “spontaneous and fun,” adding, “It’s a typical story for my mum.”
