The Arab Reading Challenge recently took place in the UAE and saw youth participation from 15 countries, including the UAE, <br />Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Oman, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Lebanon, Jordan, Palestine, Tunisia, Sudan, Morocco, Algeria and Mauritania, <br />to read at least 50 books in Arabic during one academic year making it the largest initiative of its kind ever to have taken place in the region.
