The Treasury in Bury St Edmunds Cathedral.<br />The treasury of St Edmundsbury Cathedral in Bury St Edmunds, England houses a collection of church plate, a copy of the Bury Cross, and artwork. The treasury is located in the cathedral's crypt. <br />What's in the treasury?<br />Church plate: Includes pieces dating back to the 16th century <br />Bury Cross: A copy of the Romanesque altar cross that was originally in the Abbey of Bury <br />Artwork: Includes a collection of artwork by local student Charlie Norman, who was inspired by the Ancient Library <br />Books: Some books from the Ancient Library are on display in the treasury <br />Visiting the treasury <br />The treasury is free to visit<br />It's open Monday–Saturday from 10 AM–4 PM and Sunday from 12:30 PM–3 PM<br />Other treasury exhibits <br />The treasury has hosted exhibitions such as "Inspired in the Ancient Library"<br />The treasury has also featured a display of church plate dating back to the 16th century.<br /><br />St Edmundsbury Cathedral is open to visitors 7 days a week.
