On February 16, 2025, Cory Green captured footage of Starlink satellites soaring across the night sky towards a US Coast Guard training facility in Petaluma, California.<br /><br />While driving with his family, Green initially mistook the objects for power lines but soon realized they were moving in a straight line, leading him to identify them as part of a "Starlink satellite train." <br /><br />Having worked with aircraft in the US military, Green described the sight as unlike anything he had seen before, noting the unusual alignment and surprising movement of the satellites.
