A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder following the discovery of a woman's body in a house in Stonnall, Staffordshire.<br /><br />Emergency services were called to the property on Main Street at 7:50 am on Tuesday, where paramedics confirmed the woman's death.<br /><br />A 53-year-old man from the Lichfield area remains in custody. Staffordshire Police are supporting the woman's family and appealing for information.<br /><br />Local residents expressed shock at the incident, with some recalling the village’s last major tragedy in September 2023, when Ian Price died after an attack by XL Bully dogs.
