India's navy successfully conducted the launch of its anti-ship missile.<br /><br />The missile launch took place in conjunction with India's premier military and research organisation Defence Research and Development Organisation in eastern Odisha's Chandipur.<br /><br />The missile uses indigenous technology and has the ability to retarget in flight.<br /><br />India employs more than 1.47 million active troops in its armed forces.
