SWSMtumble - By Luvna Ragoo<br /><br />This is the terrifying moment a woman was thrown from her horse and dragged along the floor.<br /><br />Jade Veldhof, 18, fell when her Oldenburger horse, Flame, five, bucked on February 28, 2025.<br /><br />She was using safety stirrups - which are meant to release in a fall - but they didn't work and she was dragged along the floor.<br /><br />Jade was able to get loose when her riding boot ripped in half.<br /><br />She was taken to hospital with a torn ankle ligament and bruising.<br /><br />Jade, from Saasveld, Netherlands, said: "My horse starts bucking and I fall off.<br /><br />"I was using the safety stirrups, but they didn't work and I got dragged. <br /><br />"I was let go when my riding boot got ripped in halve. <br /><br />"I ended up with torn ankle ligament and a lot of other bruises. I went directly to the hospital after and the accident left me with a trauma."<br /><br />ENDS
