Five-year-old Areli Reynolds asked to dress as her mum, Jade, who uses a wheelchair, for World Book Day.<br /><br />Her dad, John, built a wheelchair from cardboard to complete the costume, inspired by Jade’s autobiography about her life with paralysis.<br /><br />In the end, Areli chose to go as Belle from Beauty and the Beast instead.<br /><br />John said it highlighted the lack of disabled Disney princesses, wishing there were more inclusive characters for children like Areli.
