Residents of a "new" village inspired by King Charles' Poundbury are still waiting for schools, facilities, and doctors' surgeries 16 YEARS after building work began.<br /><br />Plans for the £1.2 billion Coed Darcy estate in south Wales included 4,000 homes, four schools, a doctors surgery, community hall, library, sports facilities and 500,000 square feet of 'employment space'<br /><br />But so far only 294 Persimmon homes have been built in the village near to Llandarcy in Neath Port Talbot, Wales, since remedial work began in 2009.
