Stir-Fried Pork Ribs with Pineapple<br /><br />Ingredients:<br /><br />500g pork ribs<br /><br />1/2 pineapple<br /><br />1 shallot, 2 cloves of garlic<br /><br />1/2 red bell pepper (optional)<br /><br />1 tbsp fish sauce<br /><br />1 tbsp sugar<br /><br />1 tbsp oyster sauce<br /><br />1 tsp MSG<br /><br />1/2 tsp black pepper<br /><br />Green onions, cilantro<br /><br /><br />Instructions:<br /><br />1. Prepare the ingredients:<br /><br />Wash and cut the pork ribs into bite-sized pieces. Blanch them in boiling water with a bit of salt to remove impurities, then rinse with cold water and drain.<br /><br />Peel and remove the eyes from the pineapple, then cut it into slices.<br /><br />Finely chop the shallot and garlic. Slice the bell pepper (if using).<br /><br />Chop the green onions.<br /><br /><br /><br />2. Marinate the ribs:<br /><br />Mix the ribs with 1/2 tbsp fish sauce, 1/2 tbsp oyster sauce, 1/2 tsp black pepper, and 1/2 tsp MSG. Let them marinate for 15-20 minutes.<br /><br /><br /><br />3. Stir-fry the ribs:<br /><br />Heat oil in a pan, add the shallot and garlic, and sauté until fragrant.<br /><br />Add the ribs and stir-fry until they turn slightly golden.<br /><br />Pour in enough water to cover the ribs, reduce the heat, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes until the ribs are tender.<br /><br /><br /><br />4. Cook with pineapple:<br /><br />When the liquid is nearly reduced, add the pineapple and bell pepper. Stir in 1/2 tbsp fish sauce and 1 tbsp sugar.<br /><br />Stir-fry for another 5 minutes until the pineapple absorbs the flavors and the sauce thickens.<br /><br />Adjust seasoning to taste and turn off the heat.<br /><br /><br /><br />5.
