A tiny model village showcasing over 100 handcrafted miniature properties has re-created Beatrix Potter’s former home.<br /><br />Built by Edward Robinson over 25 years, the village features slate-built replicas of iconic buildings, including Potter's home in Sawrey and the 17th-century Bridge House in Ambleside.<br /><br />Some properties took six months to complete.<br /><br />The village was moved to the Damson Dene Hotel in Crosthwaite, Cumbria, after Robinson's retirement.<br /><br />Hotel owner Jonathan Denby said he was eager to display the model buildings, which have become almost as iconic as the originals they replicate.
