Pope Francis thanked the faithful from his hospital suite on Sunday as he was seen for the first time by the public since he was admitted on February 14.<br /><br />Francis waved to the crowd from the balcony at Gemelli Hospital and pointed out a woman holding yellow flowers.<br /><br />"Thanks to all of you and I see this lady with yellow flowers. Good."<br /><br />He was scheduled to leave the hospital and return to the Vatican later in the day.
