A mum, who was left with severe injuries after being attacked by her ex-partner, has urged other victims of domestic abuse to seek help.<br /><br />Miranda Bury, 35, from Fleetwood, Lancs., suffered black eyes, bruises, and swollen lips following physical and verbal abuse by her ex, Joshua Carney, 30.<br /><br />Carney was sentenced to 23 weeks in prison after pleading guilty to two counts of actual bodily harm and harassment.<br /><br />Miranda, now a stronger person, encourages others to speak out, saying, "You don’t have to accept it, there is so much more out there for yourself and your own worth."
