UP keeps semis bid alive as it ousts UE from UAAP women's volleyball event<br /><br />The UP Fighting Maroons put themselves in the thick of UAAP Season 87 women’s volleyball Final Four contention after eliminating the UE Lady Warriors, 25-21, 25-18, 25-17, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on March 30, 2025. Irah Jaboneta tallied 13 points, nine digs, and eight receptions for UP which improved to 5-5 at fifth place, just half a game behind the fourth-running UST at 5-4. UE stayed winless at 0-10 to bomb out of the tournament.
