A family lost £12k worth of Christmas gifts when their Land Rover Defender caught fire while driving on the M25.<br /><br />Caroline Rodda, her husband Grant, and their two children were returning from Cheltenham when the car suddenly erupted in flames after a loud bang.<br /><br />The family safely escaped, but lost possessions, including luxury items and electronics.<br /><br />Despite contacting Land Rover, Caroline felt the company was unhelpful, and their investigation was closed after her insurance settlement.<br /><br />The traumatic incident has affected the family, with Caroline undergoing counselling and her daughter struggling with panic attacks.<br /><br />Land Rover declined to comment.
