The Prime Minister of Denmark has thrown her support behind Greenland and said she’ll help the territory through this “very, very difficult situation". <br />Mette Frederiksen reiterated her claim that the U.S. “shall not take over Greenland” and added that it was “clear that we need to batten down the hatches even more". <br />President Donald Trump has repeatedly stated his desire to “take over” Greenland, which is a sovereign territory of the Kingdom of Denmark.
