The teen was riding with his girlfriend when his scooter took on a life of its own and malfunctioned. <br /><br />Funny Ring doorbell footage from shows the teen trying to stop the two-wheeler before crashing into a row of bins. <br /><br />The couple eventually managed to get off the scooter, but the chaos didn’t end there - the scooter suddenly roared back to life, forcing Harvey to wrestle with it. <br /><br />Dad Simon Wickham, 50, from Watford, Hertfordshire, said: "The throttle on the scooter failed and it went full throttle. <br /><br />"Both wheels are powered so he had trouble stopping it until he could turn the key off." <br /><br />The video was captured in August 2024.
