Enjoy our easy Tres Leches Cake recipe. <br /><br />Facebook: /nonspicyfood <br />TikTok: /nonspicyfood <br />Instagram: /nonspicyfood <br /><br />#tresleches #cake #treslechescake #easycakerecipe #baking #homemadecake <br /><br />INGREDIENTS: <br />1- Butter as required <br />2- All purpose flour 2cups <br />3- Caster sugar 1cup <br />4- Salt 1/2tsp <br />5- Baking powder 3/4tsp <br />6- Eggs 5 large <br />7- Vanilla essence 2tsp <br />8- Whole milk 1.5cup <br />9- Condensed milk 1/3cup <br />10- Heavy cream 1/2cup <br />11- Whipping cream 500ml <br />11- Strawberry (as required for decoration) <br />12- Cooking chocolate (as required for decoration) <br /><br />PROCEDURE: <br />1- Apply butter to the baking tray and set aside. <br />2- Add flour, salt and baking powder in a bowl then mix and set aside the dry ingredients. <br />3- Separate the eggs yolks and white in two bowls. <br />4- Beat the egg white with electric beater until forms creamy texture. <br />5- Add 1/2cup caster sugar in egg white then beat for 5 minutes. <br />6- Now whisk the egg yolks then add 1/2cup sugar then whisk again. <br />7- Add milk and vanilla essence in the yolk mixture and whisk well. <br />8- Pour the egg yolk mixture into egg white. Combine them well together. <br />9- Now add the dry ingredients gradually into egg mixture and keep folding the batter. <br />10- Add the batter into baking tray. Bake in preheated oven at 200 degree for about 1hour. <br />11- In a separate jar add condensed milk, heavy cream and milk then mix it well. <br />12- When your sponge cake is ready take it out of oven then insert a toothpick to confirm it’s baked properly. (If the toothpick comes out clean it means your cake is ready) <br />13- Set the cake aside and let it cool down at room temperature. <br />14- Cut the strawberries into half. And grate cooking chocolate for decoration. <br />15- Prick the sponge cake with a fork. <br />16- Pour the milk and cream mixture on cake and leave it for 10 minutes to soak in. <br />17- Place an empty bowl in freezer for 20-30 minutes. Then add chilled whipping cream in it. <br />18- Beat the whipping cream until it becomes thick. <br />19- Add the whipped cream to the cake. <br />20- Sprinkle the grated chocolate. Decorate it with strawberries. <br />21- Serve and enjoy.
