A Newry-based interiors business has been left “devastated beyond belief” after a massive fire tore through part of the Newry North Business Park in the early hours of Friday morning (April 11), severely affecting multiple units.<br /><br />Sheepbridge Interiors, a family-run business located at Unit F within the park, was among the worst hit.<br /><br />In a heartfelt statement posted to social media, a spokesperson shared their heartbreak: "Devastated beyond belief. Our family and friends all in this business together, destroyed by fire. Thoughts go out to my staff, my landlord, my business neighbours and our fantastic customers.”<br /><br />They also extended sincere gratitude to emergency responders, calling them “the pride of our country”.<br /><br />Despite the devastation, the business has pledged to honour all existing orders and has asked customers for patience during this difficult time.<br /><br />The post continued: “Early days for thoughts on the future. But all existing orders will be fulfilled. Just bear with us as we go through the next few days.”<br /><br />Another tenant of the business park, the children’s role play centre Tiddly Town, shared a video of the fire on social media and expressed the emotional toll the night took on them and other business owners.
