Yesterday Coalition Peter Dutton announced a plan to allow first-time buyers of newly built homes to be able to deduct interest payments on up to $650,000 of their mortgage from their homes. Peter Dutton is in Brisbane today to sell this new tax deduction on his campaign trail.
