Meta Platforms has added Dina Powell McCormick and Patrick Collison to its board of directors, according to CNBC. Powell McCormick served as deputy national security advisor under Trump in his first administration and is married to Republican Senator Dave McCormick. Her appointment follows Meta’s recent decision to scale back fact-checking and add UFC CEO Dana White to the board, moves seen as signaling alignment with Trump. Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg recently visited the White House and purchased a $23 million mansion in Washington, D.C.
