A man was left with a broken foot after falling through his garden decking while hanging his washing out.<br /><br />Scott Eaves, 48, spent eight hours in hospital after a piece of rotten decking gave way underneath him.<br /><br />Dressed in his slippers and dressing gown, Scott was given a rude awakening after he was seen on his CCTV cameras falling through the garden decking.<br /><br />To make matters worse, he broke his right foot as he fell and was left with a nosebleed when his face hit some steps.<br /><br />Although able to "have a laugh" about it now, Scott joked that he is a bit "worried" about hanging up the washing now.
