Neemuch (MP), April 18, 2025 (ANI): Madhya Pradesh’s second cheetah project is complete at Gandhi Sagar Wildlife Sanctuary, spread over 64 sq km. Two cheetahs from Kuno National Park will be released here within a week as part of the expansion plan. The sanctuary features 6 quarantine bomas, 2 treatment bomas, and an upcoming animal hospital for cheetah care. Over 150 spotted deer and other prey animals have been released, with 70 forest staff deployed and trained for monitoring.
