Dr. Natasha Latouf, 26, a graduate research fellow and astrophysicist, is the real-life “Legally Blonde.”<br /><br />Despite early doubts about her abilities as a woman in STEM, she persevered, working three jobs during her undergrad and securing prestigious funding, including from NASA.<br /><br />At NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center, she launched the B.A.R.B.I.E. project (Bayesian Analysis for Remote Biosignature Identification on ExoEarths) to develop tools for the Habitable Worlds Observatory.<br /><br />Natasha embraced the Barbie aesthetic, dressing in pink and creating themed visuals, symbolising that science is for everyone, not just for men in lab coats.
