The Glastonbury Abbey was transformed over the weekend (April 26 and 26) as part of the annual Medieval Fayre.<br /><br />The event is one of the largest and most celebrated in the region.<br /><br />It features thrilling jousting tournaments, lively re-enactment camps, and mesmerizing performances by jesters, musicians, and storytellers.<br /><br />The event, which is only a 1.5 hour drive or 2 hour bus journey from Bristol, also features a number of workshops, a wide range of merchants and activities, including sword lessons and axe throwing.<br /><br />Guests are also encouraged to dress up for the event.
