A day after facing criticism for their absence during the attack on SP MP Ramjilal Suman’s convoy, Aligarh police were seen on high alert today.<br /><br />During a protest by Samajwadi Party (SP) workers, police swiftly intervened and seized an effigy of Karni Sena that the protesters were carrying. The effigy was taken away to prevent any escalation.<br /><br />The situation remained under control following the police action.
