A couple took an unusual approach to their gender reveal - swapping cakes for Greggs' pasties.

Souleyman Bah, 26, and his 16-week pregnant fiancée Saskia Symington, 24, are expecting twins in October 2025.

Souleyman has retinitis pigmentosa, a genetic eye disorder that causes gradual vision loss, starting with night and peripheral vision.

For Souleyman, it means he can’t see colours so the traditional pink or blue cake wouldn’t work.

The couple, both foodies and big fans of Greggs, came up with a creative alternative using flavoured pastries.

They asked a local Greggs employee to pack a steak bake for a boy or a cheese and onion bake for a girl - then bit into the pasties to reveal they’re having two boys.
