West Bromwich Albion’s search for a new manager appears to have taken a major step forward.<br />The Baggies have been without a permanent manager since Mowbray’s second stint ended on Easter Monday following a 3-1 defeat to Derby County. <br />Mowbray had returned in January after Carlos Corberán left for Valencia, but was unable to sustain the club’s play-off push, managing just one win in six matches.
