Durano to gather 20K supporters for Duterte grand rally<br /><br />As the only local candidates openly endorsed by Vice President Sara Duterte in the upcoming elections, Danao City’s Bakud Party, led by the influential Durano political clan, is aiming to draw a crowd of 20,000 supporters for the Duterte Maisug Avance Grand Rally on May 2, 2025. Last April, Duterte visited Danao City, her father, former president Rodrigo Duterte’s hometown in Cebu, to reconnect with their roots and meet with the Duranos, their distant relatives.
