Detectives are investigating two house fires in Bilston, Wolverhampton, that left a man in his 70s dead and four others in hospital.<br /><br />The fires, which broke out just minutes apart on Saturday, 10 May, were reported at 2:19am and 2:30am. <br /><br />Firefighters battled the blazes, which caused extensive damage to both properties.<br /><br />A man was found dead at the Marbury Drive property, while four people were hospitalised from the Lunt Place fire, though their injuries are not life-threatening.<br /><br />Police are treating the incidents as connected and continue their investigation.
