Ben and Nathan Pearson have quit their jobs and bought a crumbling French farmhouse "village" in Sainte Segros for just €80k.<br /><br />The Hull couple, aged 39 and 31, are leaving behind UK life to retire early and renovate the 1600s property into a peaceful three-bed home with guesthouses.<br /><br />With no toilet, heating, or modern amenities, they’ll live in a caravan while restoring it themselves.<br /><br />The pair hope to document their off-grid journey on Instagram and YouTube at @frenchfarmhouserenowithwine.<br /><br />“It’s a dream come true,” they said.
