NASA’s Juno spacecraft has captured breathtaking new images of Jupiter’s swirling clouds during its 72nd close flyby on 7 May.<br /><br />The high-resolution photos reveal dramatic jet streams and cyclonic storms in the gas giant’s turbulent northern hemisphere.<br /><br />Juno, now fully operational after an April safe mode event, came within thousands of kilometres of the planet during the pass.<br /><br />The mission continues to provide fresh data and visuals, deepening our understanding of Jupiter’s dynamic atmosphere and its role in the solar system.
