A woman has rescued a shark tangled in fishing rope using only her bare hands.<br /><br />Charity Clark, 43, was paddleboarding near Big Pine Key, Florida, when she spotted the trapped shark upside down and motionless.<br /><br />Instinctively, she jumped in and carefully unwrapped the rope from the animal’s body.<br /><br />Charity believes the shark was in a trance-like tonic state, allowing her to act safely. “I wasn’t scared, just focused,” she said.<br /><br />After freeing it, the shark swam away unharmed. Charity and friend Cassie Bailey captured the moment, which they shared on Instagram at @dash.of.adventure and @wildthornbaileys.
