In the past 48 hours, security forces have neutralised terrorists in two separate encounters in Shopian and Pulwama districts of South Kashmir. The latest operation in Awantipora’s Kral area focused on local terrorists suspected of aiding foreign operatives. While search operations continue for those behind the Pahalgam attack, normalcy is gradually returning to Poonch after recent cross-border shelling by Pakistan that resulted in civilian casualties.
