IndiGo flight 6E-2142 from Delhi to Srinagar encountered severe turbulence due to a hailstorm just before landing on Tuesday evening. The aircraft, carrying 227 passengers and crew, declared an emergency and landed safely at Srinagar airport around 6:30 PM.<br /><br />The hailstorm damaged the aircraft's nose cone and caused luggage displacement inside the cabin.
