In a shocking case of negligence, 45-year-old Sunil Kumar, a vegetable vendor in Bareilly, died after being buried alive under a trolley full of sludge dumped by municipal workers.<br /><br />Sunil was resting under a tree near his home after work when workers, engaged in citywide drain cleaning, emptied a trolley of sludge on him without checking the area. By the time locals realized what had happened and rushed him to the hospital, he was declared dead.<br /><br />Municipal officials confirmed an investigation is underway, and action will be taken against the responsible contractor for gross negligence.
