An Airbus H145 helicopter, registration LX-HLP, operated by Luxembourg’s air rescue service, made an emergency landing on a road after colliding with trees during takeoff. The incident occurred on the morning of May 23, 2025, between the cities of Notum and Bavin.<br /><br />According to preliminary reports, the aircraft was conducting a medical evacuation mission to assist victims of a traffic accident when it struck tree branches near the takeoff site. The crew managed to land the helicopter safely on the road.<br /><br />Local media confirmed that four people were on board — none were injured.
