Joseph Newby is an 11-year-old competitive golfer from a Sunderland council estate, who in July 2025 is taking part in the Champion of Champions Tournament for young golfers in Ireland.<br />Joseph fell in love with golf aged about six when he found a pitch and wedge club at a local golf course.<br />See Joseph in Unconventional Brits on Shots!TV
