Trump says he hasn't decided on Russia sanctions bill<br /><br />US President Donald Trump says on June 6, 2025 that he hasn't decided whether to deploy sanctions against Russia that are being considered by the US Senate. The Senate is weighing a bill that will impose stiff sanctions on Russia - and secondary sanctions on countries that trade with Russia - over its war in Ukraine. Trump told reporters aboard Air Force One that he would use it 'if necessary.' Asked about Russia's most recent attack on the Ukrainian capital Kyiv in the early hours of June 6 that killed at least six people, Trump said Ukraine 'gave Putin a reason to go and bomb the hell out of them.'
