David Beckham on King Charles' birthday list to receive knighthood<br /><br />Former England football captain David Beckham is set to receive a knighthood next week in King Charles' Birthday Honors, several British media outlets reported on June 6, 2025. The football star also played with Manchester United, Real Madrid, LA Galaxy, Paris Saint-Germain and AC Milan. Beckham is also well-known for his philanthropic work, donating his £3.4 million salary from Paris Saint-Germain to French children's charities and helping launch the Malaria No More UK charity in 2009.
