Adana Kebab ! Turkish style Adana kebab.<br />These Adana kebabs are really easy to make and can be made on a BBQ or grill tray. Turkish style Adana kebab with the fusion of Pakistani and Indian cuisine.<br />Ingredients Beef/ Mutton minced 1kg (70% meat 30% fat)<br />Red bell pepper 1 medium <br />Garlic paste 1 tbsp.<br />Onion 1 large<br />Parsley / coriander 1/2 cup<br />Salt 3/4 tbsp. or to taste <br />Black pepper powder 1 tsp.<br />Lemon juice 2 tsp.<br />Coriander powder 1/2 tbsp.<br />Cumin powder 1 tsp.<br />Red crushed chilies 2 tsp.<br />Green chillies paste 1 tbsp.<br />Paprika powder 1 tsp. <br /><br />For salad <br />Onion 1 large <br />Tomato 1 large <br />Parsley / coriander 2-4 tbsp.<br />Lemon juice 2 tbsp.<br />Black pepper powder 1/4 tsp.<br />Salt pinch <br /><br />For garnish<br />Grilled onions tomatoes and green chillies<br /><br />Directions:<br />In a chopper add red bell pepper & onion and chop well. Squeeze out all the liquid in vegetables using a muslin cloth.<br /> Add Beef/mutton minced 70% meat 30%fat into a bowl add squeezed vegetables garlic paste, parsley / coriander, salt, black pepper powder, lemon juice, coriander powder, cumin powder, red crushed chilies, green chilli paste, paprika powder and mix well until well combined. cover and refrigerate for 15 minutes. <br />Wet hands with water take the mixture (100g) & skew on metal skewers. Make a wavy kebab pattern using fingers.<br />Set them on the baking tray and put it in the preheated oven on upper rack on 375 ⁰F or 190 ⁰C for 25-30 minutes or until done flip half way through.(change the sides in between). Add onion tomatoes and green chillies along for grilling.<br /><br />For salad<br />In a bowl add onion sliced, tomato chopped, parsley chopped, lemon juice, black pepper powder, salt and mix well.<br />-On naan or lavash bread, place kebabs, sprinkle fresh salad and yogurt & serve!
