Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Israeli strikes have set Iran’s nuclear program back a “very, very long time.”<br /><br />“We continue to systematically destroy nuclear targets,” he said at a news conference in Tel Aviv on Monday.<br /><br />He added Israel was not attempting to topple the Iranian government, but said he would not be surprised if that happened as a result of the strikes.<br /><br />The fighting began when Israel attacked Iran over Tehran’s nuclear program and escalated over the weekend, raising fears of a wider and more dangerous regional war.
