At least 29 dead as floods, landslides hit Congo's capital<br /><br />At least 29 people died in Kinshasa after heavy weekend rains triggered floods and landslides, the Democratic Republic of Congo's ministry said late Sunday, June 15.<br /><br />Drone footage on Monday, June 16, showed flooded streets and a landslide zone where ten people perished. Families were seen mourning amid debris of collapsed buildings.<br /><br />Property owner Madeleine Chado, who lost ten tenants, was observed climbing over wreckage of her destroyed houses.
