Kelvin Way.<br /><br />78th Glasgow Taxi Annual Outing<br /><br />Since 1945, thousands of taxi drivers have donated their time and effort to make the ‘Outing’ the annual success that it is. Most of the drivers don fancy dress costumes, much to the delight of the children and the people who line the route through Glasgow and in Troon itself.<br /><br />About Glasgow Taxi Outing Fund<br />The Glasgow Taxi Outing Fund takes over 300+ children and a carer from Additional Support for Learning Schools in Glasgow to Troon, Ayrshire, for a fun packed day at the beach free of charge .Taxis provide the transport there and back with lunch, funrides, disco, beach toys and lots more provided.<br /><br /><br /><br />Please note, with so many taxis taking part, our usual service may be affected – but it’s all for a brilliant cause.
