A prison officer along with one of the suspects responsible for his injuries, are both warded at the same hospital following a shooting in Piarco last night.<br /><br />The officer was shot multiple times by gunmen who then got into an accident shortly afterwards, while fleeing the scene.<br /><br />Police have since detained two suspects, one of whom was badly injured in the getaway crash.<br /><br />Reporter Cindy Raghubar-Teekersingh has the details. <br />
