Amritsar (Punjab) , June 22, 2025 (ANI) : Punjab Police have arrested two individuals for their alleged involvement in leaking sensitive information and photographs of Army Cantonment areas and Air Bases in Amritsar to Pakistan’s ISI . "We received information that Gurpreet Gopi, a sepoy in the Indian Army, has ISI contacts and has been in touch with them. He had been doing suspicious monetary transactions with his friend, Sahil Masih from Dhariwal village. After gathering information, we learned that Gurpreet has been posted in Jammu. After detaining him, we found plenty of incriminating data. We conducted a thorough investigation, and then, under sections 359 of the Official Secrets Act and 35 BNS, we registered an FIR and arrested him. We have communicated this to our security and intelligence agencies and are jointly interrogating him", SSP Maninder Singh said in a statement.
