Mandi (Himachal Pradesh), July 4, 2025 (ANI): LoP in the Himachal Pradesh Assembly and BJP leader Jairam Thakur monitored restoration work in Bassi after landslide wreaked havoc in the region. He said, "The work of restoring the damaged infrastructure geared up since two days... Efforts are being made to reconstruct the road and carry out rescue operation... A lot of places lack food and we tried the air drop facility, but it i not possible due to bad weather. The only way out is through roads and we are trying our best with it. I had a conversation with Union Minister Amit Shah and he said that the centre is ready to provide the necessary aid..."
