Lucknow — A shocking incident of food contamination has come to light in Vinay Khand, Gomti Nagar, where a milkman was caught on CCTV spitting into a milk container moments before delivering it to a household. The accused, identified as Mohammad Sharif alias Pappu, has been arrested by police following public outrage and protests.<br /><br />The incident occurred in early July when resident Luv Shukla checked his home’s CCTV footage and discovered the milkman opening the can, looking around, spitting inside, and then closing it before ringing the doorbell.<br /><br />The video quickly went viral, sparking widespread anger, particularly because the milk was reportedly used for religious rituals during the Kanwar Yatra.<br /><br />Following a complaint lodged at Gomti Nagar police station, police registered an FIR and arrested Mohammad Sharif.
